The Race Street Pier is a redevelopment of Pier 11, originally constructed in 1896. It runs parallel to the Ben Franklin Bridge and juts five hundred feet out towards the water. The pier is one of the first completed stages of the redevelopment of the Central Delaware Waterfront which is on schedule to be completed in 2035.
